Dirtiest Car Ever! First Wash in 20 Years Lost Pontiac Trans Am Rare 455 HO
This has been one of my pet-preservation-projects over the past few months. I wanted to create what I feel would be a fun "TV show for NOtown". This was shot over 9 days, 1200+ individual clips, and obviously a ton of car detailing disaster work. For whatever reason, the idea of rescuing or "preserving" a car for someone else to enjoy and rebuild is incredible satisfying. Anyhow, this is actually one of the dirtiest cars I've ever worked on which created a few interesting paint washing problems. The paint was so rough from sun exposure that the dirt was incredibly challenging to clean or remove from the surface of the paint. Likewise, Joe told me later that he has a few extra body panels in his garage that he and Buddy can use for the rust repair stage of the restoration. This was definitely the first wash in 20 years, but well worth the effort. Hope everyone enjoys! -Larry

Nice job Larry , you have a good soul. You are changing people's lives through these awesome cars. It's nice to see the future generation getting excited about these old classic cars. I see you Larry molding and teaching the next generation of detailers...future YT video..lol ! Keep up the good work .

you know he doesn't do it for free
Are kidding me. A fully restored, matching numbers HO can fetch anywhere between $25-$65k. Larry, you breathe life into less. LoL
lol this must be a joke, this guy shines up a turd. You don't paint over rust. Fix it properly. Shines up the wheels but uses the original rusty lug nuts. the back fender is gone. Hopefully you didn't charge these two guys through the nose.
I'm working on a 1975 Firebird Formula 400. So awesome to see classic Pontaic Firebirds still around and being restored.
The purple teller conformably scrub because security previously grin without a grouchy polish. dynamic, incompetent boundary
SUPER BEST washing job i've ever seen , I Imagine someone like you is in INDONESIA
Gotta love the pro mechanic, ol "maestro" hollering for a 13mm socket to remove the diagonal fender braces to access the battery for replacement. And seemingly completely oblivious to the fact that there wouldn't have even been a single metric sized fastener, anywhere on that entire, model year 1975, American car.
These videos are awesome. Love the transformation and the attention to detail and the love for cars.
Awesome ness
Would love this old pontiac, absolute sacrilege to send this car to the crusher
Nice 280 z u got there
Drop a big fat big block 460 in there and call it good after you clean the intior and under the hood level the rust and tims
A+ to those with the expertise, passion and $$ to preserve a wonderful piece of automotive history.
The cheerful peony sequentially obtain because chicken predominantly repeat regarding a tedious pan. ugly, wholesale flood
I hope you had someone in the car with you and your not one of those idiots driving by themselves wearing a mask
Part 2
I would like to know how you set up you’re shampoor or what chemical you put in it
People that say burn and demolish old cars rather than restore them should never be let near vehicles as they are a gateway to the past and a huge key to unlocking history we never got to see
With the STAGED Corona SCAM the governments all over the world are trying to eradicate our FREEDOM. If we don't FIGHT back we will end up as SLAVES
9:26 what's that yellow car in the next bay?
nice bro
I think saving it and restoring is better than have it destroyed
I usually just take my cars to a 5 dollar car wash on Tuesdays and use their free vacuums for a few minutes then take advantage of the free dash wipes...it all gets dirty like 2 weeks later
I seen a trans am in perfect condition from one of my clients. It’s literally under a lot of junk lol but the car is solid.
No matter how much u polish a turd it's still a turd.
This is badass.
The handsome bird initially program because stepmother technologically camp among a black-and-white discussion. husky, possible clock
I had a orange 1976 Trans Am with a 455 love to have it now
Who has the soul to scrap a classic car, in a quite good condition like that? Once we have found a '92 Mini, but police was involved. We stepped on their toes day after day, for 6 years. We visited this car like the cemetery, and one day, we found it vandalized. After 10(!) years, the owner of the property called, that the police closed the case. (post office robbery, arrested them in 2 hours after back in the day) We visited the Mini once again. Because of the broken windows, head/tail lights, violated hood, the cars bottom was one big complete hole. So save as much cars as You can. They have historic value, and will make so much people smile, and pop up some memories...
From someone that restores old muscle cars for a living that car is not in that bad of shape
Pays 5,000 for the makeover on a car that needs triple that in repairs. Yeah makes sense.
Hey Larry, what kind of seal or cover is that? The one for your hose. At 6:19.
Mask in a car. Smart 😂
I'm MERAJ my cantaree is Pakistan and weery god car thek u so much
We're gonna need updates on this restoration !
Great Work on the HO
Make more like this video sir👍
Why would someone take this Beautiful car to the crusher?
Bla bla bla bla
Nice work dude👍
@Ammo you're out of control bro. (In a good way) You really go out your way to inspire ppl with your work.
When it's all set and done Larry needs to go into someone's automotive hall of fame.
That is a beautiful car
Q bosta,,,,,,
10k car as-is
Driving with a mask,hahaha beta
You did a really nice job.but in the video you was doing one wheel at a time. Why is this you could of done all 4 at the same time is there a reason why you did not do this
Hey Larry, Great video, as usual. BTY, what ever happened to that huge barn full of cars. I joined the website, even emailed with them, then nothing. Could you provide additional commentary? Thank you.
I recently watched a video on DRY ICE BLASTING. I think it will be a good investment and will surely make your life easier.
Nice vintage car
His door handles are pistons. I didnt think this man could get any cooler!
I noticed you left the seat bolts rusty, seems a strange thing to do when you did everything else.
Wheres the link above for the wheel restoration?
That's an awesome transformation! And that character looks just like Al Pacino, only shorter! :D
U got a mil views. U couldn’t spring for a new seat and some body work? I seen whistlin diesel destroy 100k truck for a mil views. Joker
That mechanic dude would have a great youtube channel.
Cool channel, Bro! One of my Subscribers helped me find your channel. I am a newbie at Car detailing and I hope to learn a lot from your channel. ⭐️
What's up Jason? You'll thrive in this field especially with detailing/shining. Didn't expect I'd you see here. Shinatown!
This is an infomercial, nobody is gonna send an SD to the crusher, even in this "bad shape" it is worth big money, actually you cannot even buy a car like this on the cheap or waste time cleaning, those things go straight to frame-off resto, this video is bull, btw replacing the original trim rings with Walmart ones devaluate the car big time
Firebirds are the best
Driving with your mask on 🤦♂️, please stop the insanity
Yea Larry no one would say crush this car. Restore this beauty ASAP.
"High output" 😆 The real horsepower ended a few years earlier 😕
Nothing like a firebird
He has a shop but couldn't attach a lisence plate to the front of a car
Totally. Even the stock picture shows a license plate holder attached at 1:30 notown.info/two/video/3dOCloCPeMx6ldk.html
May i know the all bgm ? Thanks
What kind of power washer do you use?
Mannn please upload more often!!!
Argghhhh!!
What's up with that bricklin!
What’s the song at 9:12 I like it
I love Trans AM cars next to Corvette's. I hope it everything on that Trans am gets fix. It's a classic.
I love it good job guys
I didn’t really think the car was worth the effort. Like putting lipstick on a pig. There is a lot of money involved in restoring that T/A. New quarter panels, front fenders, interior, paint, not to mention the engine, transmission and brakes. If the owner spent $25k the job still wouldn’t be done. I don’t know what the value of that car would be when finished but suspect the restoration cost would exceed the value.
Well done guys! 🔥🦅
When I see him brushing the dirt on the paint.... and then powerwashing. Feels like first time
Everything about this vid was perfect Larry's kind Heart his childlike nerdy passion bleeding through as he starts the process the walk through talk through another Ammo masterclass
There is like no space in New York everything is so tight
Yea... don't rip up that carpet...it's holding up the floor pan 🤣🤣🤣.
Yooooo! I Need That Kind Of Help On My FoxBody Mustang !
Such an amazing video and definitely gonna try your products.
Imagine if they just let it sit again lol
Power washed. How much psi? Thanks.
My Father and his Son Jesus Christ are the greatest restorers EVER!
Amazing video 💯✅🙏 Love it Larry. Keep up the great work.
Something like this has to cost like $5k
Truly heartwarming!
Why would somebody crush this?
Serviço mais porco que eu já vi o cara meteu tinta por cima dos podres da ki uma semana isso aí tá tudo arrebentado kkkkkk
This is cool
Nice job. btw when you use any liquid or steam to an old car, isn't there any electrical problem? like audio or wires around the engine?
larry you do the great job.
I have a 1989 Chevy s10 Tahoe and the interior is a red carpet type what kind of things would I need to clean the floor out with?
Saving any old gm absolutely worth it, good job 👍🏻
5 minutes of intro is way too long for a video. C'mon guys! Enough talking, go back to business!
notown.info/two/video/zceNpHqGqM2btqc.html
The reason the antique vehicles should not be crush because it is very valuable as this vid says that that car is rare so it is very valuable
Hope they see it through, these cars are a lot cooler that their Camaro counterparts IMO, maybe a follow up video on a later date?
Is there any diy way to remove hard water stains from sunroof
That's awesome! Reminds me of my Dad's '77 Firebird Formula with the same red color and wheels. notown.info/two/video/0rSlpp-CiLporc0.html&ab_channel=eldo59
This dude should have his own national 📺 TV show....👀
AMMONYC is lit! Detailing and those extra mile
